Kunsthall 3.14 situates in a historic building, which was formerly Norges Bank. The bank built by Norwegian architect Ole Peter Riis Høegh between 1840 and 1845 is characterized by classicism. The former business hall of the bank is now used as an exhibition hall. Although the hall has been rebuilt and modified several times over the years, the original basic structure, which corresponded to the purpose of the room, is still clearly visible. The artist developed sculptures, which refer to inner architecture in the hall, which formerly defined the entire space on a functional and symbolic level but no longer exists.
